That City Council receive a presentation from Tom Cloud, Attorney with GrayRobinson and head of the firm’s Municipal Utilities Practice Group.

SUMMARY:
At the October 28, 2021, City Council meeting, an item was brought before Council for consideration regarding the conducting of a preliminary feasibility study pertaining to the electric utility.
Prior to taking action on this item, City Council members had a number of questions and requested that a Workshop be held to obtain a greater level of clarity on this issue.
In an effort to gather information regarding this, this item allows Council to hear from Tom Cloud who has assisted other municipalities in this endeavor.
Mr. Cloud heads the Municipal Utility Practice Group with the firm of GrayRobinson. He has assisted other municipalities in this process.
PRIOR ACTION:
October 28, 2021 - City Council postponed action on an item pertaining to conducting a preliminary feasibility study regarding an electric utility.
