SUMMARY:
At the October 28, 2021, City Council meeting, an item was brought before Council for consideration regarding the conducting of a preliminary feasibility study pertaining to the electric utility.
Prior to taking action on this item, City Council members had a number of questions and requested that a Workshop be held to obtain a greater level of clarity on this issue.
In an effort to gather information regarding this, City Council has received a presentation from Florida Power and Light and Tom Cloud, Municipal Utility Practice Group with GrayRobinson.
This item seeks to allow Council to discuss and ask further questions if necessary.
PRIOR ACTION:
October 28, 2021 - City Council postponed action on an item pertaining to conducting a preliminary feasibility study regarding an electric utility.
