Deck Replacement at a Noncontributing Structure

BACKGROUND:
Troy Grimes is seeking approval to replace a front yard deck at a noncontributing structure. The existing wood deck is proposed to be replaced and rebuilt with a composite decking material with a grooved edge and in a Brazilian Walnut color. The handrails will also be replaced with a black powder coated aluminum railing with hidden fasteners. Photographs of the work area have been provided, as well as a site plan from an older permit. The scope of work will not expand the footprint of the deck and the full project area will remain hidden from view by a privacy fence.
