Replacement Garage Doors at a Contributing Structure
end
BACKGROUND:
Joy Huber is requesting approval to replace the existing garage doors on a detached accessory structure. The existing doors are not insulated or secure and are in disrepair with rotting wood and missing glass. The proposed replacement doors will be roll-up insulated steel and have been designed to look similar to the existing. The “Madison” style window inserts were chosen so that the windows could retain a vertical dimension which is consistent with other historic windows in the district. Although the primary structure is a contributing building, accessory structures are usually considered noncontributing.
