BACKGROUND:
Dalrymple Sallis Architecture is seeking approval of a renovation and addition to an existing three-tory noncontributing residence in the Crown Cove subdivision. The project will repair water damage on the Bayfront façade by replacing the porches, windows, doors, and damaged siding. A 420 square foot addition will also be constructed on the rear of the home which will increase the footprint by 150 square feet. The new addition will be roofed to provide a gable front and continuity with the front elevation. A new 5v-crimp metal awning will be added above the front entry and will wrap around the corner to cover the side entry. The existing new brick and the new cedar siding will be painted.
