Installation of an In-ground Pool at a Contributing Structure

BACKGROUND:
Keith and Kerry Pham are seeking approval to install a new 14’ x 28’ in-ground pool at the rear of a contributing structure. A version of this project was denied at the September 2022 meeting. This new packet has deleted the previously proposed screen enclosure, it shows more room between the pool edge and stucco retaining wall, and it clarifies the location of new plantings, the driveway, and the fences. Elements for the pool have remained the same and it will be surrounded by a 2-piece paver decking and a 1’ high stucco retaining wall. Example images of the half mansard enclosure have been provided as examples. The rear perimeter fence will be aluminum and 4’ high, and there will be a small section of 3’-high flat-topped privacy fencing painted to match the house which will screen the pool equipment as previously required by the board.
