Addition of Porch Railings at a Contributing Structure

BACKGROUND:
Todd Clark is seeking approval to add guardrails to the front porch and rear stoop due to home insurance requirements. The front porch is 30” above grade and the prosed prosed railings will be custom built of wood with 1” square pickets spaced 4” apart at their centers. The top rail will be 36” from the porch floor and will be painted to match the brown porch floor with the other components being painted white. Example photographs were taken from 126 W. Jackson Street which is a contributing structure to the south.
