SUMMARY:

The purpose of this proposal is meant to replace all current V300 body worn cameras with the newest V700 body worn cameras (162 total), (324) holster triggers, and provide (125) M500 in-car cameras to all Pensacola Police Department (PPD) fleet vehicles.    The proposal provides an equipment refresh of all body cameras at our third year into the contract.  For the length of the contract, all equipment is covered under a “no-fault” warranty replacing damaged equipment at no cost.  This Motorola Solutions proposal is using the Sourcewell contract# 010720-WCH for the purchase of body cameras and in-car equipment.

The new body cameras and in-car cameras are meant to record police interactions with the public, which is a recommendation by the Citizens Police Advisory Committee (CPAC) following the George Floyd incident.
