SUMMARY:

Two HVAC units at Blue Wahoos Stadium that provide air conditioning to the visiting baseball team’s clubhouse are inoperable and can’t be repaired. Temporary measures are in place to get through the rest of this baseball season, but long-term fixes must be made as part of Major League Baseball Franchise requirements. Public Works is requesting authorization to select the lowest responsible respondent from the three quotes obtained by the Blue Wahoos’ Facilities Department. The lead time for the two systems is 16 weeks, thus it is imperative to move forward to make the repairs before the 2024 baseball season.
