DISCUSSION - CODE SECTION OUTLINING THE NEED FOR PERMITS AND A GUIDE TO THE LOCATION OF THE REQUIREMENTS FOR EACH

SUMMARY:
Recently a couple of issues have arisen whereby city permits have been required and either intentionally or through a lack of knowledge, such permits have not been obtained.
The question arises as to how would any individual, citizen or business know that a permit is required and more precisely where to find the requirements for that permit.
This item seeks to discuss the possibility of creating a section within our code and/or placing such information on the City Website indicating what activities within the City require a permit and directing to that code section that outlines the requirements. The goal would be to decrease the unintentional lack of obtaining a permit due to lack of knowledge or knowing where to go to find information.
