That the Environmental Advisory Board (EAB) receive a presentation from Chelsea Mahan, providing an update on the East Pensacola Heights (EPH) Neighborhood Association Tree Planting

SUMMARY:
In November of 2021, in accordance with City Code Sec.12-6-10(c)(2), the EPH Neighborhood Association provided a grant request for EAB consideration. This request was for the funding of tree planting. The EAB recommended approval to City Council.
In December of 2021, City Council approved the EAB recommendation and approved the grant request.
Thereafter, EPH followed their submitted plan and engaged in tree planting.
This presentation allows for an update on the tree planting, the success, lessons learned and where we are today.
PRIOR ACTION:
November 4, 2021 - EAB recommended approval of a grant request from East Pensacola Heights Neighborhood Association to City Council.
December 16, 2021 - City Council approved the EAB’s recommendation to approve a grant request from the East Pensacola Heights Neighborhood Association
