QUASI-JUDICIAL HEARING - AMENDMENT FINAL SUBDIVISION PLAT - AGUADA CREEK
end
RECOMMENDATION:
recommendation
That City Council conduct a quasi-judicial hearing on August 12, 2021 to consider approval of an amendment to the final subdivision plat - Aguada Creek
end
body
HEARING REQUIRED: Quasi-Judicial
SUMMARY:
The original approved plat matches the deeds of record supplied by the title company. The deeds of record call for West Intendencia Street to be cardinal direction of east and west. The rotation of the plat was created to match the record deeds and this cardinal rotation. The original title company now claims the rotation is incorrect and will not insure the property. Therefore, the builder/developer cannot secure financing to complete the project. The title company says the only remedy is to re-plat the property with a new plat rotation. As such, this amended plat is the item before the City Council.
