That City Council schedule a special meeting whereby each Council created Board, Commission or Authority will present their annual report and that after this special meeting, a reception be held in recognition of the board members.

SUMMARY:
On July 14, 2016 the City Council passed a Legislative Action Item to, “schedule an annual presentation by the City’s Boards, Commissions and Authorities, followed by a reception to honor Board member volunteers.”
This item will serve that function and will satisfy Council Rule and Procedure 3.04 which requires such a report. In order to give the boards adequate time to prepare a report for submission, it is recommended that a special meeting and reception be held during the month of March.
PRIOR ACTION:
June 16, 2016 - City Council passed Rules and Procedures, including Rule 3.04
July 14, 2016 - City Council passed Yearly Report and Reception for City’s Boards, Commissions, and Authorities Legislative Action Item.
