SUMMARY:

                                          

At the April 11, 2016 meeting, the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) discussed funding for new CRA staffing.  At that time, the Board was staffed through the Interlocal Agreement for Administrative Services with the City of Pensacola on a part-time basis. In prior years, the CRA had been staffed by a Director, Assistant Director and an Administrative Assistant.

 

On July 11, 2016, the CRA approved hiring Helen Gibson as CRA Administrator and authorized a search to fill the Assistant CRA Administrator position. The position was advertised in several venues by the City of Pensacola Human Resources Division, and following review of a number of applications and subsequent interviews, Victoria D’Angelo was selected for the Assistant Administrator position.

 

Ms. D’Angelo began employment with the CRA on February 13, 2017.  She previously worked for Escambia County as the RESTORE Grant Coordinator, Enterprise Zone Coordinator and in the Community Redevelopment Division.  Most recently, she served as Planning Administrator to Washington County through the West Florida Regional Planning Council.

 

PRIOR ACTION:                     

 

July 11, 2016 - CRA approved the employment of the then current staff as CRA Administrator on a full time basis, and approved a search to fill the Assistant CRA Administrator position.
