SUMMARY:

                                          

The City has received a request from Rebol-Battle & Associates for Final Plat approval of “Girard Place - Phase I” subdivision.  The proposed subdivision is located in the C-1 (Wholesale & Light Industry) zoning district, and will create 11 lots (in addition to the remaining portion of the parent parcel) of varying widths from the 0.92 acre area being platted for this initial phase.  The entirety of the site is 1.62 acres in size.  The Final Plat has been reviewed by the applicable City Staff and utility providers for compliance with the City’s subdivision requirements.   

 

On August 8, 2017, the City’s Planning Board reviewed the final plat, however, the 4 members present failed to achieve consensus on their recommendation.  A motion to recommend that City Council approve the plat died for lack of a second, and a motion to recommend that City Council deny the plat failed in a 2-2 split vote.
