A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND MAKING REVISIONS AND APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2017, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

SUMMARY:

                                          

In accordance with the City of Pensacola’s Urban Core, Westside and Eastside Urban Infill and Redevelopment Area Community Redevelopment Plans, the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) will engage an urban design consultant to develop, adopt and codify design standards for the City’s Urban Core, Westside and Eastside Community Redevelopment Areas. The CRA has applied for and has received a notification of award for a DEO Community Planning Technical Assistance grant in the amount of $40,000 to supplement the full cost of engaging a highly qualified urban design consulting team.

 

PRIOR ACTION:                     

 

April 10, 2017 - The CRA approved the CRA Work Plan for Fiscal Year 2018 and the balance of Fiscal Year 2017 which included the development of design standards for the Urban Core, Westside and Eastside community redevelopment areas.

 

August 7, 2017 - The CRA appointed three (3) representatives to serve on the Community Redevelopment Area Overlay Selection Committee.

Approval of the supplemental budget resolution will appropriate the grant funds.
