SUMMARY:
The Northwest Florida Community Housing Development Corporation submitted a request for preliminary and final plat approval for parcel located at 4020 N. 9th Ave, The Glades. The project consisted of a duplex development at the southeast corner of North 9th Avenue and Mango Street. The item was approved by the Planning Board, and was properly vetted through all City departments and utility providers.
The City Council approved the final plat on February 8, 2018.
This item is requesting the Council pass a resolution in support of The Glades, which is described as a special needs housing project. The Resolution request is made to comply with a requirement of the Department of Economic Opportunity to use Community Contribution Tax Credit Program (CCTCP) Funds. The organization requesting the Resolution is experienced in working with CCTCP funds, as they have received over $13 million in funding through CCTCP monies since 2002.
