SUMMARY:
Attached please find the final FY 2018 Downtown Improvement Board (DIB) Parking Report.
The City and CRA Interlocal Agreements with DIB to manage the Parking Facilities requires that each year an annual report be submitted. Section 6(I) of the Interlocal requires the report include the status and any significant changes in the Parking Facilities, detectable trends in the use of the Parking Facilities, projected changes in the Parking Facilities and a statement of all new costs or expenditures incurred by DIB since the previous annual report. This report was presented to CRA by DIB at the November 5, 2018 Meeting.
PRIOR ACTION:
July 18, 2005 - The CRA approved an interlocal agreement with the DIB for attraction of new residential development to the downtown area, creation of a comprehensive parking strategy and for other mutual activities.
November 29, 2007 - The CRA approved an interlocal agreement with the DIB for the centralized and efficient management of downtown parking facilities.
January 11, 2016 - The CRA approved an amendment to the interlocal agreement with DIB approved on November 29, 2007 for the removal of 120 W. Government St.
May 8, 2017 - The CRA approved an amendment to the interlocal agreement with DIB for the removal of 150 S. Baylen St.
