SUMMARY:
The City Charter requires the City Council to schedule a regular council meeting at least once per month. It is customary for the City Council to establish its regular meeting schedule for the following calendar year in December of each year. At the December 13, 2018 City Council Meeting, the Council approved the meeting for the month of January, pending a workshop to discuss the meeting schedule.
On January 7, 2019 the City Council workshop was held.
As a result of the discussion at the workshop, a twice a month meeting schedule is proposed, except for the months of June, July, August, November and December where one meeting will be held. A special City Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 9 a.m. to elect the Council President and Vice President.
