SUMMARY:

In accordance with Council rules and procedures Section 1.01 - Regular Meetings, which states in part:

                     “… No scheduled meeting shall be rescheduled without a majority vote of council, except in cases of emergency or extreme hardship.”

The August 2019 Agenda Conference and City Council meeting was originally scheduled for the August 12^th (Agenda Conference) and August 15^th (Council Meeting); this coincides with the Florida League of Cities Conference which will be attended by several Council Members as well as the Mayor.

Therefore, this item requests a change of meeting dates to August 5^th (Agenda Conference) and August 8^th (Council Meeting).

PRIOR ACTION:                     

January 17, 2019 - City Council approved the schedule of meetings for 2019.
