That the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) receive a mid-year update from the Downtown Improvement Board (DIB) on its work plan for the next fiscal year and its year-to-date accomplishments for the current fiscal year.

SUMMARY:
The Interlocal Agreement between the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) and the Downtown Improvement Board (DIB) stipulates that each year the DIB shall create a plan of work that includes objectives for the next fiscal year. The plan of work is to be presented to the CRA. The DIB shall also provide briefs to the CRA semi-annually to keep the officials updated on its accomplishments and activities.
PRIOR ACTION:
July 18, 2005 - The CRA approved an interlocal agreement with the DIB for the attraction of new residential development to the downtown area, creation of a comprehensive downtown parking strategy, and other mutual activities.
November 29, 2007 - The CRA approved an interlocal agreement with the DIB for the centralized and efficient management of downtown parking facilities.
January 11, 2016 - The CRA approved an amendment to the interlocal agreement with DIB approved on November 29, 2007, for the removal of 120 West Government Street.
May 8, 2017 - The CRA approved an amendment to the interlocal agreement with DIB approved on November 29, 2007, for the removal of 150 South Baylen Street.
July 8, 2019 - The CRA received a mid-year update on its work plan and its year-to-date accomplishments.
January 13, 2020 - The CRA received a presentation on the DIB’s Fiscal Year 2019 year-end reports.
May 26, 2020 - The CRA approved the termination of the November 29, 2007, interlocal agreement with the DIB for downtown parking management effective October 1, 2020.
May 28, 2020 - City Council ratified the CRA action to terminate the November 29, 2007, interlocal agreement with the DIB for downtown parking management effective October 1, 2020.
