Periodically the City becomes engaged in a lawsuit either as a Plaintiff or Defendant (Petitioner or Respondent).
This item seeks to discuss the need and desire of City Council, as governing body of the City, to receive notification of either the City’s intent to file suit or join in a suit, or when becoming a defendant in a suit.
