That City Council ratify the discussion that took place at a workshop held on February 22, 2021 wherein the Council consensus was to approach Lighthouse Christian Academy about a long-term lease, where market rate would not be an issue, and to explore the possibility of subdividing the lots that currently house the gym.

SUMMARY:
During the workshop of February 22, 2021, City Council provided guidance on their wishes for the Malcolm Yonge Gym. These wishes included a discussion with Lighthouse Christian Academy regarding a long-term lease, where market rate would not be an issue. Further to explore the possibility of subdividing the lots that currently house the gym.
This action formally ratifies Council’s desires for moving forward with Malcolm Yonge Gym.
