That City Council refer to the Parks and Recreation Board for review and recommendation Section 6-2-3 of the City Code - Duties - Parks and Recreation Board. Further that such recommendations be forwarded back to the City Council no later than July 30, 2021.

SUMMARY:
Section 6-2-3 -Duties - Parks and Recreation Board of the City Code sets forth the duties of the Parks and Recreation Board.
At its City Council Workshop on April 19, 2021, City Council discussed the duties of the Parks and Recreation Board. At that time, via consensus, the City Council proposed having the Parks and Recreation Board review Section 6-2-3 and make recommendations on how to improve this section. Specifically looking at the question of how the board can be more beneficial and involved.
