SUMMARY:

Within the FY21 City of Pensacola Budget, City Council authorized $1,000,000 to begin the process for the Tippin Park Community Resource Center.

In March of 2021, an RFQ was sent out seeking qualifications for an architect for the project.

Within the FY21 Budget, a certain dollar amount was carried forward and placed within the General Fund-Fund Balance.  The funds within the fund balance were frozen from future use without Council consent.  Fifty Thousand dollars ($50,000) of that fund balance was authorized to go to the Veterans Memorial Park restroom project for site work.

This item seeks to transfer the remaining funds within the fund balance to the Tippin Park Community Resource Center project.
