That City Council adopt Proposed Ordinance No. 44-21 on second reading:
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 14-2-136 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PENSACOLA, FLORIDA, ENHANCING NOTICE REQUIREMENTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; REPEALING CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

SUMMARY:
The proposed amendments to Section 14-2-136 [14-1-136 prior to recodification] will further enhance notice requirements by stating that, “Prior to a permit being issued, signs shall be posted as indicated in subsection (d) below. The signs shall be posted by the applicant at their expense and shall remain continuously posted for two (2) weeks prior to commencement of any work.”

November 18, 2021 - City Council voted to approve Proposed Ordinance No. 44-21 on first reading.
March 28, 2019 - City Council amended [then] Section 14-1-136 via Ordinance 07-19.
