A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND MAKING REVISIONS AND APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2022, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

SUMMARY:

                                          

The City received a pilot program fee and one time per unit fee from the micromobility vendor, VEO, in the amount of $25,500. The fees are established in Section 7-9-7 (e) of the City of Pensacola Code of Ordinances.

 

Staff requests use of these funds for operations and maintenance of the shared micromobility pilot program. Uses may include educational collateral, parking corral equipment, and other infrastructure improvements surrounding micromobility, bicycling, walking, etc.

 

PRIOR ACTION:                     

 

September 19, 2019 - City Council adopted Ordinance No. 17-19 approving the Dockless Shared Micromobility Pilot Program

 

February 10, 2022 - City Council adopted Ordinance No. 02-22 amending the Dockless Shared Micromobility Pilot Program

 

 

FUNDING:                     

 

     Budget:                     $ 25,500

 

      Actual:                     $25,500

 

FINANCIAL IMPACT:

                     

The City would utilize these funds for operations and maintenance of the shared micromobility pilot program. Adoption of the supplemental budget resolution by City Council will appropriate the funds.
